My friend Other Laura didn't make it.
The infection had made too great an inroad in the brain.
She is beyond any hope of recovery.
They will be turning off the machinery today, once the donation people have made their assessments.
Because Laura, of course, will continue helping others when she's gone.

So sorry things turned out the way they did. I'm glad to hear that she's hopefully able to donate some organs, though. Thoughts go out to you as well as her family.

This is very very sad news, lauo.
