I will confess that it had already been wondering about being marveled at when I found it, and that its authenticity is not guaranteed.

I have seen this before. Many times. Yet, its awesomeness is never diminished — proving its divine power.
Posted by lauowolf on September 11, 2010 at 4:11 pm
Its awesomeness is indeed awesome.
Posted by Lauri on September 11, 2010 at 3:24 pm
Bahahaha. This never gets old.
I love the optimistic “but he probably did”!
Posted by robpixaday on September 11, 2010 at 4:54 pm
Uh………
I’m trying so hard not to giggle.
Seriously?
Then Noah certainly had a big boat. And that must be the amazing 12-toed Disciplesaurus up there, roaring beatifically. Very cool.

I love that it’s colored.
Posted by robpixaday on September 11, 2010 at 4:58 pm
Whoever colored it didn’t stay in the lines too well.
Heathen.
Posted by lauowolf on September 11, 2010 at 5:13 pm
That just makes it moar sincere.

Of course the Creation Museum would approve:

okay, i had to look this up – lol! – i read the writing on the top right ” Beginner’s Bible Coloring Book” – and googled
turns out, it’s a parody (of course, it might have been real – sadly, i’m sure there are real books out there like this) – hehehe – in this link, there’s more of the page on the bottom, with silly color “hints”

here’s another one, from the guy’s gallery

lol!

p.s. here’s this guy’s web page and entire gallery

I knew my peeps would know!
Too perfect to be real, but still a laugh.

He’s got some cool stuff.
Posted by paikea on September 11, 2010 at 7:25 pm
he certainly does – i like the “gallery” design – it’s a cool widgety thing or whatever
Posted by Jaypo on September 11, 2010 at 7:43 pm
HHAHA!! I saw that pic last year, at the start of my dinosaur poems!
Posted by buzzbase1 on September 11, 2010 at 8:50 pm
[<b}isto é bom
I figured it was a parody… 😉
Posted by lauowolf on September 11, 2010 at 9:27 pm
And you were right!
Posted by paikea on September 11, 2010 at 9:54 pm
hmm – here’s something related that’s NOT a parody (in case you guys hadn’t heard of it
get a load of the last pic – a statue of a dinosaur with a SADDLE on it (you know, cause Adam and Eve were big riders)

Of course, I love it!
Posted by robpixaday on September 12, 2010 at 7:07 am
It’s a parody?
Oh gosh. I’m sorry I mocked it, then.
Double-mocking cancels itself out, doesn’t it?
Posted by lauowolf on September 12, 2010 at 10:18 am
You can mock it in a parodying sort of way.
Posted by Lauri on September 12, 2010 at 3:09 pm
I thought it was real, robbbie. I mean, I know people who teach their kids this stuff!!!
Talk about parodies!!!
Posted by robpixaday on September 12, 2010 at 3:47 pm
::gasp::
Yikes!
Posted by geologywoman on September 12, 2010 at 11:43 pm
Sarah Palin would do.
Posted by lauowolf on September 13, 2010 at 10:02 am
Well, you know, the kids can’t get stupid all by themselves.
Posted by Lauri on September 13, 2010 at 10:06 am
Now that is an awesomely profound statement…..”Kids can’t get stupid all by themselves.”
Posted by robpixaday on September 13, 2010 at 10:14 am
It takes a village?
Oh…no…wait! It’s the village idiots./
Posted by Redscylla on September 13, 2010 at 10:31 am
I assure you, someone somewhere is taking it seriously, hence it is authentic in its own way. I mean, the Creationism museum is real, and they insist people rode dinosaurs.
Posted by paikea on September 13, 2010 at 5:34 pm
and that’s the scary part! – i have a link to the creation museum from Science Blogs up there, with the picture of the dinosaur in a saddle – sheesh – it’s crazy, Red!
Posted by Lauri on September 13, 2010 at 6:36 pm
Thank, um, god, that all of us rational peeps are here!!! :p
Posted by paikea on September 13, 2010 at 7:15 pm
gah!! – and there’s another thing i’ve been musing about – i was raised to be religious, so my “default” is to “thank god” – i now switch it to “thank dog”, being an atheist and all – of course, people “look” at me kind of weird when i do – but, frankly, i think i have more to thank the dogs in my life for than any god – so, to me, it makes perfect sense! – basically, what i’m saying is, now ,when i say “thank dog”, you know where i’m coming from:) – as one of my new peeps and all – heheheh
Posted by Lauri on September 14, 2010 at 2:38 am
Lol!
I like Thank Dog better, too!
And yes, we do know where you are coming from!
I’ll sometimes say “Thank goodness” because…well…..it’s better to thank goodness than badness. And if I use Thank Dog too much around my uber religious relatives I start arguments. 😉
Posted by lauowolf on September 13, 2010 at 7:47 pm
Well, thank dog we got that straightened out!
Posted by paikea on September 13, 2010 at 8:21 pm
see? it works:) – lol! (and then you get the *whoosh* memories of all the great dogs in your life – it’s all good:)
Posted by Lauri on September 14, 2010 at 2:39 am
Sometimes the memories of dog “whooshes” aren’t so great……speaking of gas here! Bahaha!!
Posted by paikea on September 14, 2010 at 3:10 am
lol! – oh yeah – one of my parent’s dogs is this big Newfie/bear mix and boy, can he clear a room! – i swear he’s totally pleased with himself, too
parents…speaking of arguments with uber religious relatives…
Posted by paikea on September 14, 2010 at 3:11 am
ah – thank goodness – that’s one i always forget about! – i kind of feel like i’m 80 saying it, though – lol!
