Despite it all, by which I mean the tendency to throw rowdy parties on weekends, and annoying learning curve of life incidents with various tenants.
[No, you don't pay passing loonies to cart off the recycling, and then expect to be reimbursed for the expense. Enjoy med school.]
But this really made me happy.
Random UC Riverside kid in a dorm shows mad brain and life skills and saves someone's life.
Cool.

Wow. Amazing. I don't think I would recognize the symptoms of someone having a stroke.

Quick thinking. I know when my youngest step-brother called me at 3:00 AM on April 1st a few years ago, I was ready to chalk it up to his having fun at a party with friends. Until I woke up a bit more and realized that yes, he actually was calling me from the police station, and yes, I needed to go down there and get his stupid ass out. The charge? Underage possession of alcohol. And they towed his car. LOL

"No, you don't pay passing loonies to cart off the recycling, and then expect to be reimbursed for the expense. Enjoy med school." LOL! Med students…not living on planet Earth. (I used to hang out with one, I know this)
